Athletic Programs

The Programs

Following the principle “a healthy mind in a healthy body,” we have organized structured athletic activities that include a variety of sports and are aimed at children over 4 years old and young people with autism and intellectual disabilities. Participants are given the opportunity to choose among different sports, according to their preferences, talents, and individual needs.

The main goals of the athletic programs are physical fitness and muscle strengthening, as well as adopting sports as a way of life. Participation in a sport they enjoy also helps children and young people develop social skills and encourages taking initiative.

Participants also benefit from socialization, active engagement, and having fun—an energy that radiates outward! At the start of the program, children and young people learn the basic rules of each sport, and their training can take place individually or in groups.

Depending on their abilities, participants may also take part in competitions in the sport they train in. In such cases, the specialists and physical education instructors prepare them for participation, setting goals during their training. All our programs are offered individually or in groups, depending on the needs of the participant, and run from October through the end of May.
