Training of Disability Support Assistants “Stand by Me”

Training for Assistants – Facilitators of Children and Young People with Disabilities

The Department of Internship, Training & Volunteering has been offering training seminars since 2000, and since then, twice a year, training programs are conducted for assistants of individuals with autism and/or intellectual disabilities.

 The program:

Target group

Students and graduates of special education, pedagogy, and humanities-related fields, as well as anyone interested in receiving training and learning about diversity.

Program Dates

November and February
New Dates: 14–16/11/2025

Duration

20 hours of theoretical training & 110 hours of practical internship

Participation Cost

€130 (or €80 for unemployed participants and university students)






Upon successful completion of the training, participants receive:

Certificate of Attendance

All participants receive a certificate upon completion of the seminar

Employment Opportunity

Participants are immediately employed by ALMA as support assistants in the association’s excursion and summer camp programs
